JDFR Walk

Howdy Neighbors.

It's not my intention to solicite my own neighbors but my family and I are taking part in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's Walk to Cure Diabetes.
Along with a half-million other walkers across the country we are attempting to raise $90-million to help fund research for a cure for type 1 diabetes.

Devastating and often deadly this disease affects million of people; a large and growing percentage of them children.
JDRF funding is associated with most major scientific breakthroughs in type 1 diabetes research to date.
Scientists are predicting that we can expect to see a cure within our lifetime.
