I drove by 20th street and Oak at 2:30 AM and the vandal has already
tagged the place that I painted today!

I will get in touch with Ofc. Smith to possibly coordinate a stake
out on this vandal.

Yes, Ofc. Smith has great energy and gives good information.

I will take a look in the Greater Green Gables area for this vandals
graffiti. I was advised by Ofc. Smith to document the graffiti with
printed photos. So make sure we take a picture before it gets painted
over.

Jennifer, do you have a set meeting time for your neighborhood
association meeting? I would like to attend and coordinate with you
on the graffiti thing.

Thanks,
Aaron

We in Greater Green Gables see the "22st" 'tag' often as well - but I
don't
know who is responsible for it. We've seen it for a few months now
throughout the neighborhood. Greater Green Gables is east of the 51
freeway, between McDowell and Thomas. Let's make sure to report these
quickly to Graffiti Busters - or paint-over the graffiti ourselves - and
together we can dissuade 'taggers' (as I'm told they lose interest in
tagging a neighborhood if it's painted-over quickly). Kudos to you for
taking-on the painting yourself!!
Officer Smith has jumped into her new role as Community Action
Officer with
TONS of enthusiasm. We just met her at our neighborhood meeting this
past
Tuesday, and know already that she is an asset to our area! It's
great to
hear she's partnering with you on this project. Let me know if you
need any
more information from the 'other side' (of the 51).
