This week I picked up 5 gallon buckets of paint from Graffiti Busters
and painted out graffiti - with the permission of residents, of course.

Here's what you can do to fight graffiti!

1) If you see graffiti in progress call 9-1-1 each and every time you
see it happening.

2) If your home or property has been the victim of graffiti, call to
make a police report by calling Crime Stop Hotline (602) 262-6151.
This is important because the officers need evidence to press charges
once the vandal is apprehended. If you can, print out a picture for
the officer responding so they can put it in the report! This also
helps if the vandal is caught in a precinct other than Central City.

3) If you can provide information to the leading to the arrest of a
graffiti vandal, call the Graffiti Vandal Catching/Reward Hotline at
(602) 262-7327.

4) There are three ways to remove graffiti.
	a) You can call Graffiti Busters 24-Hour Removal Hotline (602) 495-7014
	b) or Send site locations using email graffiti.busters.nsd at phoenix.gov
	c) Better yet?
You can pick up FREE paint and get rid of the graffiti yourself!
Call and make sure your message gets to Regina (602) 495-0323
Call in advance so they can have your paint and supplies ready.
Then you sign a form and off you go!
The Graffiti Busters pick up location is at 64 N 49th Avenue (West
Van Buren Street the turn South on 49th Avenue). Nearest highway
exit is I10 and 51st Avenue.
(If you want to get rid of graffiti that is NOT on your own
property, you must get permission from that property owner, otherwise
you are committing graffiti.)

Thank you,
Aaron
