People are forgetting when they argue this that it also affects Man/Woman
relationships as well. Even if you are against gay marriage (and I don't
care if you are or aren't right now) this Proposition will affect unmarried
couples of any type. The only way they can 'punish' gay couples is to take
away the rights of ALL unmarried couples. Meaning no more common-law
marriage, less help for domestic violence issues and it cuts all other
benefits that unmarried couples have now.
I agree.. NO on 107!

No on Prop 107!
________________________________________________________________________________________
As the election draws near, Arizona voters will soon be
deciding whether or not to put discrimination in the Arizona Constitution.
The LGBT community has a tremendous opportunity to come together to oppose
Proposition 107, which would ban gay marriage and any form of domestic
partnerships. Let's Unite Against Prop 107!
Don't be fooled into thinking that this amendment
wouldn't affect you personally. Even though LGBT people don't have marriage
equality now that doesn't mean we should ignore this ballot measure. This
is a mean-spirited initiative that is using our community - you and me! - as
a scare tactic to raise money and motivate extremists to go to the polls.
And...don't forget...this initiative will take away
domestic partner benefits from gay and lesbian couples. This initiative
would make it illegal for any government agency to recognize domestic
partnerships or offer same-sex partners health care. Universities would be
prohibited from allowing same-sex partners to share in employee benefits,
such as health care or tuition discounts. Prop 107 would also discourage
employers from offering same-sex partner benefits, and most likely will
scare major corporations with progressive employee policies from setting up
shop in Arizona. These frightening outcomes have happened in other states
that have passed marriage bans so we know it's true and they will happen.
Don't let this happen...PROTECT OUR COMMUNITY.
