I don't like the way they worded that - "...has received nearly $1 million
in funding from one out-of-state group."

It shouldn't matter who pays for the advertising, as long as there are
plenty of in-state supporters! That's something that really bugs me about
the people against Prop 204 (Yes for Humane Farms), they use the excues that
it is primarly funded by out of state animal rights groups.. but they
completely fail to mention that it is completely backed by several in-state
animal rights and animal welfare groups. They also try to use the excuse
that the proposition is entirely anti-farm and anti-meat, when really all it
is trying to do is put a limit on the amount of physical and emotional abuse
that the animals have to live with. Not all of the 204 supporters are tree
hugging vegans. Some of us just care about general decency!

RSVP TODAY for AzAN's September 28th Forum!

Propositioning Arizona: AzAN's Sept. 28th Forum

Which way will you vote on the 19 ballot measures?

             Find out which measure...
--------------------------------------------------------------------
...has received nearly $1 million in funding from one
out-of-state group

...would increase cigarette taxes by $.80 per pack

             ...could eliminate land use restrictions

             ...could make you a millionaire!

In November Arizonans will face important decisions on nineteen
initiatives and referenda ranging from smoking bans to anti-immigrant
referenda to preservation of state trust lands, funding early childhood
education, eminent domain and voting by mail, to name a few.

Those who attend our September 28th forum will receive a free copy of
our booklet detailing the real impact of each measure, who is supporting and
opposing each measure and why, and who is giving money to each side.
