There must be a misunderstanding. I believe that e-mail you are referring to
was "from" Tyler.

 

I am not very articulate, and find it beneficial to use pictures to convey
emotion and context.

 

I think Reuben explained how to place specific names on a block list so that
you can receive from the list-serve those e-mails that one cares to have
blocked on an individual basis, leaving that choice up to each one of us.
Self moderation.  Then you don't miss out on the notices you want to
receive.

 

Roobin maybe you can reprint that for us.

Tyler,

 

I must say that I am so sorry to see you leave as President of GCNA.  

 

I don't access the LS that often for many reasons, the main being that out
of the 60,70, 80 and more e-mails that come through on the list serve only
about 5% of them make any decent, intelligent contribution.  The rest are
nothing but sarcastic, venomous, hateful, racist,comments and remarks.  The
potty talk, the inane one-liners, the ridiculous pictures.  Don't any of you
people have a life?  I could go on and on but, I don't have time.  I have a
life and not one that I want to spend deleting the e-mails on the LS.  I'll
be removing my self from the LS because it's taking up too much space on my
computer.  

 

Tyler, don't go away, make a contribution to the community in a way that
will be appreciated by people that understand the meaning of simple decency,
respect and the ability to debate without childish mud-slinging.
