temporary art in the circle

Anyone who would be interested in meeting to discuss placing temporary art
in the 12th Street and Oak Traffic Circle please e mail me at Wayne at xnar.com
subject Art at 12th and Oak.  I hope to get together a group this weekend
that would be able to place a temporary display in the Circle until the City
work resumes.  While we wait for the city this would provide a higher
visibility of the circle and increase safety and also test to see if the
neighborhood would like to incorporate something in the landscaping during
the final design.

 

I would like to attempt to co-ordinate this as a part of first Friday, if
someone would know how to make that connection.

 

This would be a privately organized and funded project, not part of the GCNA
association.  Simply testing out new ideas during this down time
opportunity.

 

Let me know if you are interested I can give you the location of the meeting
and get you on the list.
