> Celebrate the Summer Solstice with Public Art: If you're an early 
> riser in the Phoenix area, make your way to Papago Park on Wednesday, 
> June 21 for the annual gathering to watch the solstice sunrise over 
> Jody Pinto and Steve Martino's Papago Park/City Boundary Project.  
> The artwork, completed in 1992 through the Phoenix Office of Arts and 
> Culture, includes a series of stone pillars that align with the 
> rising solstice sun to create shadows marking the boundary between 
> Phoenix and Scottsdale.  The project is located on the southwest 
> corner of McDowell Road and Galvin Parkway.  Limited free parking is 
> available nearby. Sunrise will occur at 5:19 a.m. on June 21.    For
