It's very easy to keep feral cats.. if you feed them, they will stay. We
have a few on our street who are also very good at keeping the pigeons away.
The mocking birds are another story, they aren't afraid of the cats one bit,
but they also don't make much of a nuisance.

That's one solution I've considered. Ours are declawed indoor cats but I've
considered getting one or two for outside. We have dogs, but they just
stand around while the pigeons eat their food. Doh! I'm not sure how I'd
entice feral cats into a yard full of dogs.
