Pidgeons

When I lived in the Roosevelt neighborhood, we were infested with pigeons.
We tried the anti-pigeon gel and the little wire pokers that you put where
they roost. You can get these from the do-it-yourself pest control place
that is on Thomas or Indian School -- I can find the name and address if you
need.

However, these measures didn't work as well as what we have here in
Coronado. The man down the street (aka, "the cat man") has a yard full of
cats that seem to produce a new litter of cats each year. Three of those
kittens wandered down to our house and live quite happily here. They are
feral and we have trapped them and had them neutered. They chase/kill the
pigeons and we have very few pigeons living around our end of the block.
Note to bird-lovers: the cats haven't seemed interested in catching anything
but pigeons. The rest of the local birds hang out in our trees and sing
their songs to us.

I highly recommend the feral cat solution.
